Chicago Med Star Brian Tee Eyes Directing Role on Fire & PD
Former "Chicago Med" Star Brian Tee Expresses Interest in Expanding Role within "One Chicago" Franchise
Former Chicago Med star Brian Tee, best known for playing Dr. Ethan Choi, has revealed his ambition to expand his role within the One Chicago universe. The actor is interested in joining the casts of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, exploring entirely new characters within the firefighting and police drama worlds.
Chicago Med, the popular medical drama from NBC, recently concluded its ninth season, leaving fans eager for its return in the fall of 2024. While the future of Dr. Choi remains uncertain, Tee has already made a return to the series, not as an actor but as a director for several episodes.
While Tee's most recent acting role is in the Amazon Prime Video series Expatriates alongside Nicole Kidman, he hasn't ruled out a guest appearance on Chicago Med. In fact, he's envisioned a potential storyline where Dr. Choi returns alongside other familiar faces to help the hospital through a major crisis.
In addition to acting, Tee has expressed a keen interest in directing episodes of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. Though this isn't currently in his immediate plans, he acknowledges the challenge of directing these shows due to their outdoor filming locations.
