Behind the Camera: Directing 'Heartland'
Potter's involvement in "Heartland" extends beyond acting. He has directed over 30 episodes, describing the experience as both challenging and rewarding. The show's unique elements - including children and animals - add complexity to the directing process.
"For me, directing it has always been a challenge," he admitted. "There are so many components with weather and scheduling. We shoot in blocks of two episodes, so there is a lot to pack in that time."
From 'X-Men' to 'Queer as Folk': A Diverse Career
Potter's career spans various notable roles, including voicing Gambit in the "X-Men" animated series and playing Dr. David Cameron in "Queer as Folk". He looks back on these experiences fondly, highlighting the importance and impact of each role.

Wisdom for Aspiring Actors
Drawing from his extensive experience, Potter offers advice to young actors. He emphasizes the importance of passion and perseverance in the challenging world of acting.
"Don't do this unless you have to. Most artists would understand that. There is no easy road and there are no secrets."
Life Beyond the Camera

"Life is so good right now," Potter shared, reflecting on his personal life and career achievements.
