I love Ty and Amy together and would love for him to return. But if the other actor is the one to fill his shoes, I hope it works out for all involved.

It’s a very rare thing to see a couple work so well together that you could believe they were really married in real life. That’s what Ty and Amy were together, and that’s why NOONE will ever be able to fill his void.
You figure, we are willing to have Ty rise from the dead in anyway you can make it happen. No other actor will do and if putting someone else on in place of Ty is the best you can do then you have failed us all and you might as well end the story now as I for one will not watch another guy take Ty’s place. -

No one has said why Ty was written out of Heartland to the point of dying so that he can't come back, what happened. He played the role perfectly, was it his choice or the directors?
