In Heartland Season 17, Episode 5, titled "How to Say Goodbye," there is a storyline involving a character's death and a subplot introducing Nathan Jr. as a potential replacement for Ty Borden. While many fans may believe that Ty cannot be easily replaced, I can provide insights into the writers' approach in incorporating Nathan Jr. and how this new character fits into the series.
What are your thoughts on Nathan Jr.? Do you think he can fill the void left by Ty? Share your opinions below!

I loved the story of Ty and Amy; however, after so many times of Ty's being absent at critical times of the marriage, I became disillusioned with Ty. Amy needs someone who isn't doing his own thing all the time. It seemed as though everything became about what Ty wanted and Amy would reluctantly go along with it. For instance, the new house. Amy was always changing her dreams to Ty's dreams.

Bringing someone back from the dead is never a good story. I don’t care who plays the part.

Sometimes people die. They cannot be replaced, but it is possible for life to move forward. Amy is a young, beautiful, smart, talented, strong woman. I have faith that she will move forward with grace.
