Pauley Perrette's Post-NCIS Life: Retirement, Purple Hair, and Fan Reactions

Fans adored Pauley Perrette's portrayal of Abby Sciuto on NCIS. Since her departure in 2018, many have been curious about her next steps. This year, Perrette confirmed her surprise retirement from acting.

On Twitter, she explained, "Actually I retired after NCIS but BROKE was important, beautiful. I did my last dance & am proud of it!" Perrette's final acting role was in the CBS sitcom Broke (2020) alongside Jane the Virgin's Jaime Camil and Natasha Leggero. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled after one season.

The pandemic lockdown offered Perrette a chance to focus on her hobbies and life outside the spotlight. She frequently shares updates on social media, recently showcasing a perk of retirement: her haircare routine!

Pauley Perrette tweeted a selfie with the caption, "One thing lockdown and retirement has been good for... my hair. It's also purple on top but you can't see it in my dark house." She followed up with another photo, revealing her purple locks and her adorable rescue dog, Rosie.

Fans showered Perrette with compliments on her new look and post-NCIS life. Some commented on the positive effects of her newfound freedom, while others expressed their desire for her return to NCIS.
